It was a debut season for Chelsea academy product Tammy Abraham, as he scored 19 goals in the just concluded season for Chelsea.
For much of the campaign, Abraham was Frank Lampard’s first choice striker, until Olivier Giroud picked up form in the second half of the season.
Abraham suffered a dip in form after a fine start to the season, no thanks to a niggling injury that killed his momentum.
Tammy Abraham has admitted that he’s pleased with how his season went, and also admitted that he’d come out stronger from the experience he had.
“It’s been a phenomenal season for myself and the lads,” Abraham told the official Chelsea website.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better season. I have had a few niggles here and there, but I have come out stronger and now I have to build myself for next season and start well and end well. That’s my aim. I have to raise my bar and go again.”
