Chelsea’s latest signing Timo Werner was in the stands as his new team was beaten in the FA Cup final on Saturday evening.

Chelsea had gone ahead early in the game through a sweet Christian Pulisic effort, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from the penalty spot in the first half to draw levels for the Gunners.

Aubameyang scored a fine solo effort in the second half to put Arsenal in front. With Arsenal ahead in the second half, television cameras spotted Werner appearing to message someone on his phone as Chelsea pushed for an equaliser.

Werner’s former club RB Leipzig used that opportunity to troll their former striker and insinuate that Chelsea’s new signing is already looking to leave Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, the hot German striker has revealed that his goal is to score goals for Chelsea next season. The 24-year-old has already resumed training with his new teammates.

“I’ll try to score as much goals as I can for Chelsea, that is the big reason why they bought me, to bring the goals I scored in Leipzig here, and maybe score more goals than there,” Werner told Chelsea’s official website.
