Former Chelsea star, Willian, got a hat-trick of assists on his Arsenal debut, as the Gunners started the new season on a high, with a 3-0 win against newly promoted Fulham.
Willian was involved in all three goals for Arsenal and could have even scored on his debut, but his free kick hit the post.
“Chelsea will regret selling Willian,” a fan wrote on Twitter after his first assist.
One other fan wrote: “Pepe benched by Willian who had to flee from Chelsea to get out of Pulisic’s shadow. Chelsea will regret letting Willian go.
Another commented on social media: “Willian made has an assist registered on FPL than all Chelsea players. Willian is already better at arsenal than he was at Chelsea.”
Willian left Chelsea at the end of last season as a free agent, and he signed a three year deal with Arsenal.
The Brazil international made 339 appearances with 63 goals and 56 assists for Chelsea in all competitions, after seven years at the club, where he won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and also the Europa League.
