The promising Scot was ruled out for at least four months with knee ligament damage.
The 19-year-old has stepped up his rehabilitation from a knee injury, and is edging closer to a return to action.
Chelsea have posted a video with the 19-year-old being put through his paces on the pads, and the young midfielder did quite a decent job and was even tagged ‘Billy Balboa’.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have the chance to get through to the last eight of the Carabao Cup, as the Blues will be away to Tottenham on Tuesday night.
Frank Lampard will be aiming to win his first trophy as a manager, and this competition poses a great opportunity.
