Chelsea will face Barnsley at Stamford Bridge next Wednesday, 23 September, with the kick-off time at 7.45pm.

The game against Barnsley is a third round Carabao Cup fixture, and Frank Lampard will be hoping to get his hands on the trophy.

If Chelsea must win this competition then the Blues should be ready for a tough route to the cup.

Chelsea may likely face Tottenham in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, if the Blues go past Barnsley.

The winners of Chelsea vs Barnsley clash will meet the winners of Leyton Orient vs Tottenham. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Liverpool may meet in the next round as well, if they both win their third round games.
