Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for West Ham star Declan Rice, all summer. But the Blues might end up not signing the 21-year-old after all, for this summer at least.
With six deals already completed, one might think Chelsea are done in the transfer market this summer, but the Blues are far from finished, as Frank Lampard’s side will eventually sign a new goalkeeper to rival Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Rennes shot-stopper Edouard Mendy is high on Chelsea transfer list, and the club could sign him for as little as £18m.

While Chelsea have not given up totally on Kepa, Frank Lampard won’t be willing to take chances with his inconsistent performances which was on show last season.
For Declan Rice, the former Chelsea product could cost too much for the club, with Chelsea having already spent well over £200m in transfers.
Hammers boss David Moyes, has reportedly said that Rice isn’t for sale, and he intends to build his team around Rice next season.
Petr Cech is reported to be driving Chelsea’s interest and pursuit of the keeper, 28.
