Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has confirmed Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic will not be involved in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ziyech is yet to make his Chelsea debut following his arrival from Ajax after picking up an injury in a preseason friendly against Brighton while Pulisic is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in the FA Cup game against Arsenal last season.

Lampard confirmed neither player is far away from contention but the game comes too soon in their return to full fitness.

Lampard said on Monday: “With Ziyech and Pulisic, they are not too far away now. They are still in their recovery stage, so it’s still a little too early for them both.”

You are tantamount to sacking, you better do something to save your stay. Can’t you read a game as compared to Aterta?
