Done deal: Chelsea and Italian club reach agreement over transfer of midfielder

Chelsea confirmed the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen on Friday and have reportedly reached an agreement on the transfer of another midfielder.

According to reports in Italy, Chelsea and Italian club AC Milan have reached an agreement on the transfer of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claim Bakayoko will spend next season on loan at AC Milan, with the Italian club having an option of making the deal permanent.

Di Marzio claim Chelsea will receive a €3m loan fee as an up front payment, with the Italian club having the option to buy Bakayoko for €30million.

Meanwhile, Havertz had this to say after completing his Chelsea transfer on Friday: “I am very happy and proud to be here, For me it is a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can’t wait to meet all the players and the trainers. Yeah, I am very happy to be here.”
