Kepa Arrizabalaga’s errors were well documented last season, and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard had to drop him at times for second choice goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

The Spaniard hasn’t started the new season in the best of form as he made another high profile error against Liverpool.

For the game against Brighton, he was blamed for the Seagulls only goal, and against Liverpool, he gifted Sadio Mane a cheap goal for his second of the game.

Former Chelsea defender Frank Lebeouf has said that Kepa shouldn’t man the post for Chelsea any longer, insisting that Willy Caballero can do a good job until the new goalkeeper comes.

“Kepa cannot do the job anymore, it’s over,” the French World Cup winner told ESPN FC.

“Maybe the first mistake from Frank [Lampard] is to keep on putting Kepa in goal where the guy has completely lost his confidence, I think Caballero should play.

“He [Kepa] cannot play, his head is in a different planet, he doesn’t feel football, he doesn’t even live football, he just wondering if he’s still a goalkeeper, he shouldn’t play.”
