Chelsea outdid themselves in the transfer market as the Blues made Kai Havertz the sixth signing of the summer transfer window.

It has been an adventurous experience for Chelsea in the summer transfer window, as the Blues have already signed Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr, Thiago Silva and now Kai Havertz.

The Kai Havertz deal seems to be the biggest of the summer transfer window, and has been gathering comments from many.

Ex-Chelsea and Germany forward Andre Schurrle, has revealed his delight with the signing and wrote on Instagram: “This is amazing @Chelseafc and @Kaihavertz29.”

Chelsea defender and Havertz international teammate with Germany, Antonio Rudiger, has also welcomed the new signing with a simple ‘welcome bro’ as well as a smiley.

Meanwhile, Havertz has revealed that he’s looking forward to teaming up with Rudiger and Timo Werner, and also the young English boys in the team.

He told Chelsea FC in an interview: “I think it is very exciting because Chelsea has very young players and I know some of the players like Timo [Werner] and Toni [Rudiger].

“I have played with them in the national team and they are good friends of mine and so I think this is very good for me. Also that Chelsea have very young players and English players and that is very nice and a big project. Hopefully we can have many successes.”
