According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport, Premier League rivals Manchester United are plotting a shock transfer swoop for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The report claims Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to go all out for the Chelsea midfielder.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has splashed out £230million this summer to bring in Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwel, with Malang Sarr and Thago Silva also joining for free and it is believed the Blues want to sell some players to balance the books.
Kante’s future with the Blues is unclear, with Stamford Bridge chiefs considering the idea of moving him on to raise funds.
United already have Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic and Fred at their disposal in midfield – plus summer-signing Donny van de Beek from Ajax but Solskjaer is still keen on signing Kante from Chelsea.
