Chelsea have already made five major signings this summer but Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly expecting more signings at the club.
Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva have joined Chelsea this summer, with the Blues also closing in on a move for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
According to The Telegraph, Havertz is expecting his Chelsea deal to be completed soon after already passing a medical.
The report claims the 21 year old German international believes he will train with the Blues from next week.
Meanwhile, Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger has revealed he played a role in convincing Havertz to join Chelsea.
“Everything went well with Timo Werner, so I made my contribution,” the Chelsea centre-back said at a press conference on Tuesday ahead of Germany’s Nations League clashes with Spain and Switzerland.
“And I hope that it works again now [with Havertz].”
