Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has thanked Chelsea boss Frank Lampard for letting Chelsea player Ethan Ampadu join Sheffield United on loan ahead of the new season.
Ampadu spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig but rarely played, making just 7 appearances for the German club.
Wilder promised to take care of the Walea international during his loan spell at Sheffield United.
“We need to thank Frank Lampard and the people at Chelsea for helping making this happen,” Wilder said.
“We’ve got a good relationship with them and they know we’re going to take good care of him.”
