According to 90min, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been left unimpressed by the attitude and performances of Callum Hudson-Odoi in training this summer.
Ahead of Chelsea’s season opener on Monday against Brighton, Hudson-Odoi’s recent attitude in training has done little to endear Hudson-Odoi to Lampard as he was already concerned that his lack of form last season.
Hudson-Odoi made just seven Premier League starts for the Blues last season and with the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner this summer, Lampard is reportedly open to letting Hudson-Odoi leave the club on loan.
Hudson-Odoi managed a total of 33 appearances in all competitions last season, chipping in with three goals and six assists – many of which came in the early few weeks of the season.
Nevertheless, he may feature in some capacity for Chelsea in their season opener against Brighton on Monday, with Hakim Ziyech ruled out with a knee injury.
