Chelsea have signed a new goalkeeper this season, as Edouard Mendy joined the club from Rennes.

Chelsea had signed Kepa Arrizabalaga two years ago to take over from Thibaut Courtois, who forced a move away to Real Madrid. However, Kepa Kepa hasn’t really impressed, and after two seasons at the club, Frank Lampard has deemed it best to sign a new goalie.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is now being linked with a move away from the club, having failed to cement his position as Chelsea’s number one, with reports claiming that Chelsea may be open to a loan exit.

The transfer window closes on October 5, and Valencia are reportedly interested in the Spanish goalkeeper.

Lampard had said that he would hold talks with all 3 keepers and be blunt about his plans for them in the team this season. But we all know that Mendy will be first choice.

Do you think a loan deal will be the best move for Kepa?

I dont think so,if anything william Cabalero should be the one exiting. De Gea makes alot of mistakes but Man U never treated him the way Lampard is treating Kepa.
