Chelsea were the biggest spenders in the summer transfer market, as the Blues spent around £230m to strengthen his squad.
Chelsea spent on the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy, with Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr signing on a free transfer.
The new signings are yet to blend in with the squad, with Hakim Ziyech yet to start a game due to lack of match fitness, and Havertz isn’t yet to get used to the intensity of the Premier League.
After the game against Manchester United, a Chelsea fan took to twitter to slam the performances of Havertz and Werner, the two signings from Germany.
Havertz and Werner cost over £100m, but this Chelsea fan isn’t impressed, as he tweeted: “Havertz and Werner – don’t get the hype.”
However, another Chelsea fan disagreed with him and believed that Werner should have remained on the pitch.
