With the transfer window closing on Monday October 5, Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman has until October 16 to secure a loan move away from the club.
Rahman has spent the last five seasons away on loan having arrived from Augsburg for £14million and played 23 times in his debut campaign.
After failing to secure a loan switch to an European club before the transfer window closed on Monday, Rahman can join a Championship club on loan as the EFL transfer window doesn’t close until October 16.
According to Goal, Championship sides Watford and Middlesbrough are interested in a loan move for Rahman.
Rahman has struggled with injuries since joining Chelsea and a crippling knee issue kept him out for virtually the whole season after joining Mallorca on loan last season.
Rahman still has two years left on his Chelsea contract but it’s unlikely he will play for Chelsea again.
