Chelsea legend Alan Hudson has urged Chelsea boss Frank Lampard to learn how Jurgen Klopp gets Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah to play for Liverpool after the 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
Hudson doesn’t believe Lampard should sacrifice Chelsea’s attacking potential in trying to make the team more solid defensively.
He cited Liverpool’s example after their 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa, claiming Klopp still never changed his philosophy while making adjustments to his Liverpool team.
Hudson told CaughtOffside: “Mane and Salah at Liverpool – if they make runs they get the ball, because that is how Klopp wants the team to perform going forward.
“Even after losing 7-2 (to Aston Villa) he hasn’t stopped playing the way that won them the Champions League and Premier League, and Frank is nowhere near that level of thinking.”
