Confirmed: Complete list of Chelsea players called up for international duty

The international break is upon us again, and a huge number of the Chelsea squad has been called up to represent their respective countries.

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has been called up for Denmark’s UEFA Nations League games away to Iceland on Sunday and England next Wednesday.

For England, Mason Mount, Reece James, Tammy Abraham and Ben Chilwell were all called up for the Three Lions UEFA Nations League at home to Belgium on Sunday and Denmark next Wednesday. Meanwhile, the arrival of Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell and Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho will be delayed, because of the social gathering they were involved in, as Tammy Abraham was given a surprise party for his 23rd birthday.

Mateo Kovacic will be part of Croatia’s team for their UEFA Nations League game at home to Sweden on Sunday and France next Wednesday.

Our French duo of N’Golo Kante and Olivier Giroud have been called up France UEFA Nations League games at home to Portugal on Sunday and away to Croatia next Wednesday.

Our Germany trio of Antonio Rudiger, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner made the squad for Germany’s UEFA Nations League games away to Ukraine on Saturday and at home to Switzerland on Tuesday. Werner will be away from the squad for a while as he has some flu-like symptoms.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was still able to make it for Spain’s squad for the UEFA Nations League games at home to Switzerland on Saturday and away to Ukraine on Tuesday.

36-year-old Thiago Silva is still a huge part of the Brazil setup and has been named in their squad for their 2022 World Cup qualifiers at home to Bolivia on Saturday and away to Peru on Tuesday.

New Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech, who’s yet to make his Blues debut, will be part of Morocco squad for their friendlies at home to Senegal on Friday and DR Congo on Tuesday.

New Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy made Senegal’s squad for friendlies away to Morocco on Friday and at home to Mauritania on Tuesday.

Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi will be part of Belgium’s squad for their UEFA Nations League games away to England on Sunday and away to Iceland next Wednesday.

Blues youngster Armando Broja who’s on loan to Vitesse has been named in Albania’s squad for their UEFA Nations League games away to Kazakhstan on Sunday and Lithuania next Wednesday.

Ethan Ampadu who’s on loan to Sheffield United was named in Wales squad for their UEFA Nations League games away to Republic of Ireland on Sunday and Bulgaria next Wednesday.

Chelsea youngsters Marc Guehi and Callum Hudson-Odoi were named in England’s Under-21 squad for Euro 2021 qualifiers away to Andorra on Wednesday and at home to Turkey on Tuesday.
