Former Chelsea star Joe Cole was very much impressed with the quality of attackers on display in Chelsea’s 4-0 win against Krasnodar in our Champions League tie on Wednesday.

One of the things that pleased Joe Cole the most was that all four goals were scored by attacking players, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic all getting on the scoresheet.

Chelsea are blessed with attacking talents, as Frank Lampard went all out to sign top attacking players during the summer transfer window, with Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz joining the club.

Meanwhile, Joe Cole believes that Pulisic remains the most important of the lot.

“This lad’s a real talent,” Cole told BT Sport after the game against Krasnodar.

“It was a big miss not having him at the start of the season.

“I would argue he’s one of the most important players in Chelsea’s attacking third because he can do everything, Pulisic.

“He can dribble, run without the ball, he gets in and scores goals.

“Frank will be delighted. He couldn’t have written the script better, all the front boys scoring, everyone involved, another clean sheet and it’s an impressive evening for the club.”
