New Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech is set to make his Chelsea debut in Saturday’s Premier League game against Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

Ziyech played 31 minutes for Morocco during the international break before heading back to London to train with the Blues.

It isn’t known whether Ziyech will start or come off the bench against Southampton.

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is a doubt for the weekend’s game after suffering an injury while on international duty with Senegal.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is also a doubt for Saturday’s game with reports from France claiming he missed France’s 2-1 victory over Croatia after suffering a muscle injury.

Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell left England’s camp earlier this week due to issues with a pre-existing foot injury and he is also a doubt for the Southampton game.

There is a question mark over whether Chelsea defender Thiago Silva will be involved after his long flight back from Peru.
