Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has shown this season that he can play a huge role for the side, as Frank Lampard aims to build a squad that can challenge the might of Liverpool and Manchester City in no distant time.
The 19-year-old made a remarkable difference in our Premier League fixtures against West Brom and Crystal Palace, and he was the match changer in the 3-3 draw against West Brom, coming on from the bench to help Chelsea seal a draw from 3-0 down.
A lot has been expected from the Blues academy product, who has since burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old, and he has now vowed to add more goals and assists to his game this season.
“I wanted to have a good start just so that, as the season’s going on, you feel more confident,” he said according to the official Chelsea website.
“I thought to myself that I need to score more goals, get more assists and I need to work hard for the team in general, just so we can win as many games as possible.
“It was an individual thing of saying to myself, ‘Give it your all in training, give it your all in matches and then, hopefully, the goals and assists will come as well.'”
