Chelsea players featured for their respective national teams on Wednesday night, and the bulk of the Blues players had a good outing for their national teams.

Antonio Rudiger who hasn’t featured for the Blues this season, was on the starting sheet for Germany in their 3-3 friendly draw against Turkey on Wednesday night in Cologne. Blues striker Timo Werner missed the clash, however, due to illness.

For France, N’Golo Kante did not feature in their 7-1 win over Ukraine, while Olivier Giroud bagged a brace as he captained the French side on the night.

Jorginho was an unused substitute in Italy’s 6-0 win over Moldova. Blues full-back Emerson Palmieri was introduced after 66 minutes with the Azzurri already five goals ahead after a rampant first half in Florence.

Andreas Christensen came off the bench as Denmark got a comfortable 4-0 victory over Faroe Islands. Christensen came on for Bournemouth’s Philip Billing for the final 18 minutes of the game, and and could have gotten a fifth goal but his header was punched away by the goalkeeper.

Mateo Kovacic lasted an hour as Croatia came from behind to beat Switzerland 2-1. Former Blue Mario Pasalic was among the scorers for Croatia.
