Chelsea beat Champions League opponents Krasnodar 4-0 in Russia on Wednesday night with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic all scoring for the Blues.
Krasnodar boss Murad Musayev has revealed why his team were thrashed by the Blues in Russia on Wednesday night.
According to Musayev, Chelsea’s quality bench which saw Chelsea boss Frank Lampard bring on Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham was one reason why the Blues beat Krasnodar 4-0.
The Krasnodar boss also blamed the loss to Chelsea on the number of players that were unavailable for the Russian club.
Explaining why Krasnodar lost 4-0 to Chelsea, Musayev said: “Of course, we have too many first-team absentees and it was surely felt by us. Especially when your opponents have a chance to send the likes of Pulišić, Mount and Abraham into the game.”
