Chelsea have continued leaking goals this season, with the Blues conceding nine goals in just five Premier League games this season.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard believes having West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in Chelsea’s midfield alongside N’Golo Kante will help solve Chelsea’s defensive problems.

According to ESPN, Chelsea will try to sign Rice during the January transfer window.

West Ham reportedly value the England international at around £80million and insisted all through the summer transfer window that Rice isn’t for sale.

Chelsea are hoping West Ham’s financial issues will help the Blues sign Rice in January. Rice has not agitated for a departure, but West Ham know they could cash in if needed.

What am I saying.he lampard like giving wrong numbers to his gives us problem in the pitch. Giru is there fit.rudger as well. These 2 lads helped us to top 4. But now they’re not counted. I can’t just understand Lampard’s obsession with Declan Rice. What’s so special about Rice? He’s being over tolerated by Abromovich, Chelsea’s owner who’s giving him all the money for the signings.

It’s how a coach makes use of his players that matters. He’s simply not getting the best out of the players because he’s too emotional. You thought Tariq Lamptey was not good enough now you see what he’s doing at Brighton? The same can be said of Ross Barkley who you have loaned out to Aston Villa. Barkley is scoring goals at Villa.

As a coach one needs to manage their emotions and be accommodating to all players. Lampard however is always quick to have stand-offs with players and shoving them aside. Look at the case with Alonso for instance. What about Rudiger? Such an aggressive defender you don’t even want to see on your bench. Meanwhile it’s Mason Mount your darling boy all the way.
