Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is in his second year at the club, and not many predicted he’d get this far, having being appointed to be in charge of the club back in 2019.
Lampard guided Chelsea to a fourth place finish last season, as he did a great job to perform in spite of the transfer ban and the departure of Eden Hazard.
Lampard is set to face Burnley this weekend, as Sean Dyche’s side play host to the Blues at the Turf Moor.
Dyche has been in charge of Burnley for eight years now, and the 49-year-old has done enough to make Burnley a tough side to beat.
Lampard was asked if he can be in charge of the club for such a long time, but he failed to give an answer to the question.
“No manager will commit to the answer you want there,” Lampard said when asked if he will be at Chelsea for as long as Dyche has been in charge at Turf Moor.
“It’s a great achievement from Sean, what he has done at Burnley when you think about the balance of the Premier League and results he has produced there year after year.
“It’s always a difficult game. No doubt it will be very tough.”
