Mendy: Looked very solid, and was well protected by his defence. He’d be pleased to have kept a clean sheet. 7/10

Reece James: Very good game going forward and defensively. Was very lively on the right and kept bumping down the flank. Huge role in the third goal with a powerful run forward. 9/10

Thiago Silva: Yet another clean sheet with him in the heart of defence. Solid game, good passing and brought calm to the defence. 8/10

Zouma: Powerful header to beat Nick Pope for Chelsea’s second goal. Very solid defensively and did well to curb the threat of the physical Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood. 8/10

Chilwell: Very attacking minded and looked like he was playing as a wing-back. Kept being a useful outlet on the left flank and could have gotten an assist, but for offside to Giroud’s goal. 8/10

Kante: Played as a defensive midfielder in a 4-3-3 system and looked very comfortable protecting the defence on his own. 8/10

Mount: This looked like his best performance this season as he combined well with Chelsea’s attacking players. Good game and got an assist for Zouma’s goal. 8/10

Kai Havertz: Gave some very decent passes and made the midfield tick with his passing range and mobility. Looked more like the big money player Frank Lampard signed. 8/10

Ziyech: His first league start for Chelsea culminated in a goal and an assist. He did everything right and was at the heart of our attacking play. Linked very well with Havertz, Mount, Werner and Tammy Abraham. 9/10

Werner: Made the starting sheet late, after replacing the injured Christian Pulisic. Scored a well taken goal to mark his fifth of the season in all competitions and third in the league. Very lively coming from the left and complemented Tammy Abraham. 8/10

Abraham: Looked very sharp, worked hard and made sure he kept the Burnley defence on their toes. Set up Ziyech for the first goal. 8/10

Hudson-Odoi: Replaced Ziyech in the 73rd minute, but didn’t add much. 5/10

Giroud: 77th minute sub for Tammy Abraham. Scored a goal that was ruled out for offside. 5/10

Jorginho: 86th minute sub for Kai Havertz.
