Chelsea played out yet another goalless draw, as Frank Lampard’s side left Old Trafford with just a point.

It was a very cagey affair at Old Trafford on Saturday evening. Check out the player ratings below

Mendy: Very good performance. Made a couple of good saves all through the match, including a stunning effort to deny Marcus Rashford late in the game. He’s really looking like a very good signing. 8/10

Azpilicueta: Played at the right side of a back three and was very solid. Did well against Marcus Rashford and could easily have won a penalty for his side, but VAR failed to give it a shot. 7/10

Thiago Silva: Proving that he’s still a top centre-back. His passing was top notch and he was solid defensively. Made a good stop to deny Edinson Cavani in the second half. 8/10

Zouma: Solid at the back today and put in some good tackles. 7/10

Reece James: Played as a right wing-back and was one of Chelsea’s most dangerous players. Solid performance defensively and was good going forward. Put in a couple of good crosses that weren’t converted. 8/10

Chilwell: Made sure that the left flank was solid, but he didn’t add much going forward. 6/10

Jorginho: Good work defensively, but he play that forward pass. Very cagey in midfield. 6/10

Kante: Worked hard in the middle of the park, but was too slow when in possession and it dulled the attack at times. 6/10

Kai Havertz: Still not up to the rhythm of the Premier League. Very anonymous display. 4/10

Pulisic: Looked bright at times and always tried to make things happen. Got tired in the second half. 6/10

Werner: No space to work. Chelsea’s play was too cagey, so he had little creativity behind him. 5/10

Mount: Entered the game in the 71st minute for Kai Havertz. Worked hard but didn’t add much to the team. 5/10

Tammy Abraham: Came on for Werner with less than 20 minutes left, but didn’t improve the team’s attack much. 5/10

Ziyech: 81st minute sub for Pulisic. Tried to work hard on his own. His corner kicks were however disappointing. 5/10

About the Author

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
