Ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash between Burnley and Chelsea at Turf Moor, Burnley boss Sean Dyche has revealed he’s hoping to face a tired Chelsea team after our midweek Champions League game against Krasnodar.
Dyche told reporters in a pre-match press conference: “The journey times and travelling possibly but they can make changes, a number, and it is more shifting styles and different types of quality.
“It might be helpful but you don’t know until the whistle blows. If they are feeling some of the effects then that might be helpful but if not we know the top sides are very strong.”
Chelsea beat Krasnodar 4-0 on Wednesday in Russia, with Hakim Ziyech scoring his first Chelsea goal in his first start for the Blues.
