Chelsea defender Malang Sarr will spend the rest of the 2020/21 season on loan at Porto.
The young French defender joined Chelsea in August after his contract at French club Nice expired, and will continue his development with the Portuguese giants.
Sarr is delighted to play for Porto, whom he has referred to as the biggest club in Portugal and the Blues loanee will be delighted that he can play in the Champions League as well.
“Porto is the best club in Portugal, it is a very big club with talented players and a history that, for me, is very important,” the 21-year-old told the official Chelsea website.
“I am very excited. It was an opportunity I was looking for, so I am grateful and happy to be here. I feel prepared to start helping the team to achieve its goals.
“I am a team player, I am only interested in the team and my colleagues. I know that Porto is an ambitious club and I also came for that.
“I’m looking forward to competitiveness, big games, the Champions League and helping the club and the team to win another league title.”
Porto were drawn in the same Champions League group as Manchester City, Olympiacos and Marseille.
