Victor Moses is set to join Russian club Spartak Moscow on a one-year loan deal after being unable to seal a move before the close of the transfer window on October 5.
Last season, Moses spent time on loan at Fenerbahce and Inter Milan, with Antonio Conte’s side believed to have been interested in re-signing the Nigerian before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Inter Milan eventually pulled out of the deal to sign Moses, and the Premier League winner under Antonio Conte has been left with limited choices since many of Europe’s top leagues ended their transfer window on October 5.
Russia and Portugal are two notable countries whose transfer windows remain open until October 17 and 25 respectively, and there could be a bail-out now for the 29-year-old.
According to reports, Russian side Spartak Moscow are keen on signing Moses before their transfer window closes.
Italian media outlet Gianlucadimarzio.com, claim the Nigerian international will undergo medical examinations in the coming days before officially becoming a Spartak Moscow player.
