Germany boss Joachim Low has confirmed Chelsea striker Timo Werner has undergone several coronavirus tests after experiencing some flu-like symptoms.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet if the striker, who joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig, has the coronavirus as results aren’t in yet.
Werner has been experiencing flu-like symptoms since joining up with the German national team from Chelsea.
“Several tests have been done, but the results are not in yet,” Low said on Tuesday.
Werner has been ruled out of Germany’s international friendly against Turkey on Wednesday due to the symptoms he has been experiencing.
