Three Chelsea players have been called up to the England national team for the upcoming international games.
Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell have all been called up to the Three Lions squad.
Abraham and Mount made the cut to the Three Lions squad last month for UEFA Nations League fixtures against Iceland and Denmark, however Chilwell wasn’t called up due to injury.
The new Chelsea left-back, Ben Chilwell last played for England back in November 2019, while still with Leicester City, as he featured in the Euro 2020 qualifying victories against Montenegro and Kosovo.
All three Chelsea invitees are new to the English setup, but Chilwell is the more experienced of the trio, with 11 caps to his name. He made his Chelsea debut last week against Barnsley, coming off from the bench to assist Olivier Giroud and followed it up with his first start on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Tottenham.
For the upcoming international games, England have a friendly fixture against Wales at Wembley next Thursday, before two UEFA Nations League games against Belgium on Sunday 11 and versus Denmark on Wednesday 14, which are both home matches.
