Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy suffered an injury while on international duty with Senegal.

The new Chelsea goalkeeper was called up for national team duties with Senegal, but he got injured in training.

According to reports, Mendy is expected to miss Chelsea’s next Premier League game against Southampton due to the thigh injury he suffered.

However, a report by Sky Sports’ reporter Angelo Mangiante, suggests that the Senegalese goalkeeper will try to return for our Champions League clash against Sevilla on October 20.

Chelsea have some crucial games ahead, and the Blues have a big Premier League clash against Man United on October 24, and Chelsea fans will be hoping that he’s back in time for the upcoming games after the Southampton clash.

Mendy has now returned to Chelsea and will be looked after by the Chelsea medical team.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
