According to reports, as many as six players could leave Chelsea during the January transfer window.

The size of the Blues squad has left many players struggling for game time and it is believed the club will listen to offers for players not in Frank Lampard’s plans.

Football London claim as many as six Chelsea players could leave the club permanently or on loan during the January transfer window.

Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori, who has just one substitute appearance in the league and two outings in the Carabao Cup, is expected to leave the club in January. The defender is seen as the future and will likely leave the club on loan.

With Lampard preferring the centre-back partnership of Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger has struggled for game time this season. Rudiger has just 18 months left on his Chelsea contract and he is likely to leave the club on a permanent deal in January.

Emerson Palmieri has been linked with a return to the Italian league with Juventus and Inter Milan interested in signing the Brazilian-born Italian left-back.

Football London also believes Mateo Kovacic could push to leave the club in January if he continues to warm the bench at the club.

It hasn’t worked out for Danny Drinkwater at Chelsea and the midfielder wasn’t even allocated a squad number for the season. It was revealed recently that Drinkwater has made a show reel of his football highlights as he bids to revive his career with a move away from Chelsea.

Giroud is expected to push for an exit in January with his place in France’s European Championships squad under threat due to a lack of first-team football.
