Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has received a lot of criticism on social media for being an important player for England manager Gareth Southgate.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has slammed the disgraceful criticism of Mount’s selection and insists Mount deserves his England place.

“It’s disgraceful the way people have talked about Mason Mount getting his berth in front of whoever,” former Arsenal striker Ian Wright said on ITV.

“Mason Mount is in there on credit and what he’s able to do. It’s unfair the amount of stick he gets for getting chosen by Gareth.”
