Chelsea legend Ashley Cole is a huge fan of Chelsea right-back Reece James and has hailed the England international as a key player for Chelsea.

Cole also believes James is similar to Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

“He’s similar to Trent [Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool right-back], the variety and quality of his crossing in wide areas I think is very good,” Cole told ITV.

“He’s improved his defensive abilities. He’s a little more aggressive now and he’s definitely a key player for Chelsea at the moment.”
