Chelsea defeated Sheffield United 4-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening, as the Blues played a great game.
Goals from Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Timo Werner gave Chelsea the win on the day.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard made two changes in that game, as he brought in Jorginho and Olivier Giroud.
Lampard didn’t bother to make a third sub, and Callum Hudson-Odoi was on the bench. Hudson-Odoi celebrated his 20th birthday on the day, but Lampard didn’t introduce him at any stage of the match.
Chelsea fans went on to reveal their disappointment that Hudson-Odoi wasn’t given a chance to play on his 20th birthday.
Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi has been accused of breaking lockdown rules late in October.
According to the Daily Star, Hudson-Odoi dined with pals and team-mate Fikayo Tomori in a restaurant in late October despite Callum Hudson-Odoi having tested positive for coronavirus already in March.
The report went on to claim that Hudson-Odoi filmed a ‘get-together’ that broke the latest lockdown restrictions.
Hudson-Odoi never came on to the pitch against Sheffield United, while Tomori wasn’t even named on the bench. Some believe it was because of the alleged incident.
