Following Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Rennes on Tuesday, Chelsea became the first team to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Since the opening day draw against Europa League champions Sevilla, Chelsea have won three consecutive games in the Champions League.

It was also the first time in 10 years that Chelsea have qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League with two games left to play.

Chelsea’s next Champions League game is against Sevilla and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be hoping for a positive result against the Spaniards to ensure Chelsea win the group and get a potentially easier draw for the first round of the knockout stages.
