Chelsea have been in good form of late, with the Blues winning their last three games in a highscoring form.
Interestingly, Chelsea have been able to survive without last season’s star man Christian Pulisic and marquee signing Kai Havertz who missed the last game due to Covid-19.
Havertz has not yet impressed in the eyes of many, despite his very impressive stats, with some pundits urging him to get used to the demands of the Premier League.
Blues legend Frank Lebeouf has now named Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic as two players who shouldn’t be in the Chelsea starting team yet, based on current form.
“Right now, I would say yes,” Leboeuf told ESPN FC when asked whether Pulisic and Havertz are not in Chelsea’s strongest line-up at this point.
“I said that, Havertz, I wasn’t convinced by his performances.
“Havertz is a diamond, he is going to be shining very, very soon for the club. [He still] has to adapt English football, to his teammates, but it is not the case at the moment.”
