Former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has aimed a sly dig at Chelsea by hinting he didn’t feel loved and wanted at Chelsea.

According to Morata, his red-hot form at Juventus is down to being wanted and loved at Juventus.

Morata has scored six goals in seven appearances for Juventus in all competitions, with four goals in just three Champions League matches.

“The motivation is the same as any person needs in life, to feel wanted and loved,” Morata told Sky Sport Italia.

“I said when I came back here that I felt like a more complete player and I matured as a person by going through the good and bad in my career. It was all a learning experience.”

  1. Alvaro Morata was given enough chances to excel at Chelsea but he couldn’t perform. Let him also tell us why he failed at Athletico Madrid. May be they also hated him too.So why would any Club spend huge to buy a player they didn’t love then?

Morata should thank his stars if he is finding his feet. If he was that good then why didn’t Juventus buy him after the loan spell?
