Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour has reminded everyone of his quality with an awesome strike for the Chelsea U-23 side against their Manchester City counterpart.

The 19-year-old returned to training at the end of last month, after four months of being out injured, and has since been stepping up his recovery.

Gilmour was in good form against the young Citizens and helped the young Blues to a stunning comeback.

City had gone ahead 2-0, with quickfire goals from Liam Delap and Tommy Doyle. After the break, Gilmour reduced the deficit with a superb strike before Myles Peart-Harris equalised in the 68th minute.

The game ended 2-2, with Gilmour playing 90 minutes football, a huge step forward in his recovery from a knee injury that cut him short last season.
