Callum Hudson-Odoi was in fine form for the England juniors on Tuesday, as he scored a goal in England U-21’s 5-0 win over Albania.
Hudson-Odoi was pleased with his side’s performance and hailed his teammates after a massive win that followed the 3-1 win against Andorra.
“We really played well,” he stated. “We showed good maturity from the start and came out with a game plan that we conducted really well.
“For myself, I wanted to try to get a goal and give a good performance so hopefully I did that. I want to keep improving every day, keep working hard and keep getting good results for the team.”
Having suffered an Achilles injury that kept him out of action for six months, Hudson-Odoi who is yet to reach those heights that made him part of the Three Lions squad, has now revealed that he is 95% fit.
Hudson-Odoi’s aim for now is to win the European Championship next summer with the England U-21 side.
“Every competition we play, we want to get good results, get to the final and win the trophy, whether that’s with the Under-21s or the seniors,” he said.
“We’re going to push and work our hardest for the win.”
