According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport, Italian champions Juventus have emerged as the favourites to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
Alaba, whose contract expires at the end of June next year, is also wanted by the Blues.
Alaba is usually deployed as a centre-back but he has vast experience of playing at left-back and can also be deployed in midfield. Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo is reportedly keen on signing Alaba due to his versatility.
While Chelsea want to sign Alaba as a free agent at the end of the season, Juventus reportedly want to sign him in January for a cut-price fee.
Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in signing Alaba.
