Kai Havertz missed Chelsea’s last two games, having tested positive to Covid-19.

Havertz has since been on self-isolation, having also missed the international games with Germany.

The 21-year-old has now shared a picture of him working out during his isolation period while recovering from the virus, and he captioned it: “Working on keeping the fitness level”, accompanied with a muscle emoji.

It’s good to see the playmaker working hard while being out, and we can’t wait to have him back.

It remains to be seen whether Havertz must have fully recovered by the time we face Newcastle this weekend.

Havertz has registered three goal contributions in eight top-flight appearances this season.
