Chelsea had a good game against Burnley, as the Blues took all three points at the Turf Moor.
Chelsea were only 1-0 up at half-time, which is never a comfortable scoreline, but Frank Lampard’s side added a gear in the second half and added two more goals to give Chelsea a much deserved win.
Despite Chelsea’s play in the second half, it wasn’t too smooth sailing as Burnley put a little pressure at the start of the second half. Chelsea coped well with the pressure and scored two goals in the second half to end the game 3-0.
Mason Mount revealed that Frank Lampard’s advice at half-time was enough to win the game.
Mount said: “The gaffer said at half-time at 1-0 it’s never done. They put some pressure on us early in the second half. We knew it was going to come, we had to weather it and then getting that second goal from big Zou winning headers.
“We need that set-piece threat, we didn’t really have it last season, and we have scored quite a few already this season. It’s something we can continue to improve on.”
