Mason Mount is in his second year in the Chelsea first team, and the 21-year-old is looking like he’d be there for a very long time.

Hardwork and industry are two words that are consistently linked with the Chelsea academy product, as he continues to be a hard worker on the pitch in every game he plays.

Many believe that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard often favours Mount, but Mason Mount’s father, Tony Mount, has even revealed that Chelsea bosses Frank Lampard and Jody Morris are often hard on his son.

“Frank is very hard on him [Mount], he drives him, he’s very demanding and he always wants more,” Tony told Fulham Broadway’s Finest podcast.

“Jody is the same — and has been with Mason since he was a youth player and been a big influence.

“Jody is all about winning, he’s competitive.”
