Edouard Mendy joined the Blues in a £22million deal from Rennes in the summer transfer window and the 28 year old goalkeeper has been impressive for the Blues.
Mendy has conceded just ONE goal in his first seven appearances in a Chelsea shirt.
With Mendy in-between the sticks, Chelsea have kept five clean sheets in a row for the first time since 2010.
Mendy has also become the first Chelsea goalkeeper to kick off his Premier League career with three shutouts since Petr Cech in 2004.
Ahead of the game against Sheffield United later today, Mendy has got a chance to equal a Premier League record.
If Mendy keeps another clean sheet against Sheffield United on Saturday, he will become just the fourth goalkeeper to not concede a goal in his first four league games after Alex Manninger, Pepe Reina and Anders Lindegaard.
