Rennes are bottom of our Champions League group and could be eliminated with two games to go, if they lose to Chelsea in Tuesday evening.
The Ligue One side aren’t in good form of late and were beaten by Bordeaux in the French league over the weekend.
However, Rennes manager Julien Stephan is in buoyant mood heading to this fixture.
Stephan has vowed that his side won’t make the game easy for Chelsea, revealing that they’d play with confidence, unity and a fierce will.
“We must not panic,” he said. “We are obviously disappointed with the results and the performance against Bordeaux.
“We will approach the game with confidence and dynamism. We are together, united together, and with a fierce will, we will find the solution, it is a certainty.”
Chelsea defeated Rennes 3-0 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge just before the international break.
Rennes have lost their last three games in all competitions and failed to score a goal in any of those games.
