Mason Mount played in a midfield three alongside N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic in Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Sheffield United on Saturday.

According to The Telegraph, Lampard wasn’t happy with Mount’s productivity during the opening stages of the game, and had some choice words for the youngster.

The report claims Lampard told Mount to stop “f*g about” and get the ball out wide.

Lampard wanted Mount to use his impressive passing ability to get the ball out wide to Ziyech on the right wing and Reece James – who was playing as a right fullback.

Lampard’s instructions worked, as Mount played a key role in the game in unleashing Ziyech’s ability.
